About Us

One Good Eye are actually two people and two entities...Costa lived and worked as a photojournalist in the Middle East and South Asia for many years before returning to the States. Today his time is divided between buying and selling folk art objects as One Good Eye and teaching photography at the State University of New York. Margarita now concentrates her activity to buying and selling vintage mexican silver jewelry, and you can visit her website here : onegoodeyesilver.com

We are interested in the American material culture of the 18th and 19th centuries, and deal in unique objects that challenge the eye. We travel and buy constantly and are regularly replenishing our inventory. We would be more than happy to help you find what you are looking for so please email us to be added to our mailing list and to let us know what your interests are.

Photographs on the website enable the viewer to get a general idea about an object, and descriptions are brief. Please feel free to contact us for more images and descriptions. This is not a problem...Costa's cell is: (607) 727-1532.

Objects pictured on this website as well as other things that aren't are kept in our home in Binghamton, NY - a central NY state location equally far from New York City, Boston and Philadelphia, and New England...
