About Us

One Good Eye is actually two pairs of eyes : Costa Sakellariou and Margarita Poutouridou. Costa lived and worked as a photographer in the Middle East for many years before returning to the States. Today his time is divided between One Good Eye and teaching street and documentary photography to college students. We are interested in the American material culture of the 18th and 19th centuries, and deal in unique objects that challenge the eye. We travel and buy constantly and are regularly replenishing our inventory.
